REAL Soccer Club will hold its Fall Jamboree on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Joplin Elementary School, the club announced. The event is for its Mini Monarchs and Rec programs.
Regular practices, including parents-versus-kids games, are scheduled to continue during the final week of the fall season.
The event will feature live music by the Sam Conchshell Trio and food from KB’s Burritos, the club said. After their final game, teams will go to the event tent between fields 3 and 9 for awards and official club photos at the Real SC banner. The club said all players will receive an award and families may take their own pictures during the ceremony. Official photos may be shared on the club website and social media; families who do not want a child included are asked to notify staff in advance.
After the awards, Sky High Inflatable Plus is donating a bounce house, according to the announcement. Coaches will receive more information about field setup and takedown and when to return equipment during the event.
The announcement also lists a separate competitive 5v5 bracket at Joplin Elementary’s Field 9, on the west and east sides, from Oct. 15 to 17. Games are scheduled for 5:15 and 6:15 p.m. Thursday for U10–U11 and U12–U13 brackets, and at the same times Friday for U9 and U15. Saturday’s finals day runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with consolation games on Field 9 East and finals on Field 9 West. The bracket is for fixed rosters, and winners in each bracket will receive medals, the club said. The announcement did not list an admission cost.
