The City of Joplin says its annual Veterans Day parade will take place Saturday, Nov. 7, on Main Street, with the route running from 15th to 2nd Streets.
According to the city, Main Street from 20th to 2nd Streets will be closed Saturday morning. The parade staging area will be on Main between 15th and 20th Streets, and crews will close those five blocks just before 8 a.m., the announcement says.
The parade begins at 10 a.m., and crews will close the route just before the event starts, according to the city. Main Street will reopen after the parade, the announcement says.
