Visit Joplin says a couples painting event will take place Oct. 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Create N Sip, 223 W. Third St. in Joplin.
According to the announcement, participants will each paint a canvas, with the two paintings designed to join as one diptych. The instructor-led class offers a choice of 11-by-14-inch or 16-by-20-inch canvases, and no painting experience is needed.
Visit Joplin says attendees may bring wine or beer if they are 21 or older and have valid identification. The event listing also notes that Create N Sip has resident studio cats.
